--- title: Episode 3: Holograms, heavenly bodies and hobbits description: Following on from the great stories from the Things I Wish Knew Then at ICE Conference we are so happy to welcome our new bloggers Fortitude Johnson and Felicity Thompson who are sharing some great stories (some true) via their WhatsApp group from a recent event. image: https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hubfs/Blog%20Thumbnail%20Images.png --- [![ICE Blog](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/Ice%20BLOG%20(Blog%20Banner).jpg?width=2240&height=1260&name=Ice%20BLOG%20(Blog%20Banner).jpg "ICE Blog")](https://ice-hub.biz) # Going Live In.... ## [Episode 3: Holograms, heavenly bodies and hobbits](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/blog/goinglive3) 2/7/23 10:54 AM / by [Fortitude Johnson and Felicity Thompson](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/blog/author/fortitude-johnson-and-felicity-thompson) For those just joining us in the wonderful world of Foster Fischer and Simmonds LLP events, the elephants have arrived (that’s Grace and Dainty to you), the palm trees are on a slow boat to Naples and the tech team is kicking into high gear. If you’ve missed their earlier escapades, join the full team from the start in [Episode 1: Concrete, carpets and creativity.](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/blog/goinglive1) It’s problem solving on steroids as Emma leads the in-house events team over, under, round and through anything in their path on the final push to ‘go live’ for the Annual New Partner Celebration in Rome. Where reality fails, the virtual world takes over in today’s cue-to-cue. Holograms of palm trees that are still at sea, celebrity avatars for that Oscars vibe and slide-less presentations take centre stage. WhatsApp is abuzz with conversations, complaints behind the scenes and back office queries.    ### **Going live in** **…..** **….6 days, 8 hours and 59 mins**   ![Episode 3 Stats](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/Episode%201%20Blog%20Stats.jpg?width=648&height=365&name=Episode%201%20Blog%20Stats.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 1](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%201%20.jpg?width=2480&height=3507&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%201%20.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 2](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%202%20-%20jpeg.jpg?width=706&height=999&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%202%20-%20jpeg.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 3](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%203%20-%20jpeg%20-%20new.jpg?width=708&height=1002&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%203%20-%20jpeg%20-%20new.jpg) ![Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 4](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%204%20.jpg?width=2480&height=3507&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%204%20.jpg) ![Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 5](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%205.jpg?width=2480&height=3507&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%205.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 6](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%206%20-%20jpeg.jpg?width=722&height=1021&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%206%20-%20jpeg.jpg) ![EPISODE 3 - Page 7 - jpeg-2](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%207%20-%20jpeg-2.jpg?width=706&height=998&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%207%20-%20jpeg-2.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 8](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%208%20-%20jpeg.jpg?width=725&height=1026&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%208%20-%20jpeg.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 9](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%209%20-%20jpeg%20-%20new.jpg?width=705&height=997&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%209%20-%20jpeg%20-%20new.jpg) ![Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 10](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2010%20.jpg?width=2480&height=3507&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2010%20.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 11](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2011%20-%20jpeg.jpg?width=701&height=992&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2011%20-%20jpeg.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 12](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2012%20-%20jpeg.jpg?width=699&height=989&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2012%20-%20jpeg.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 13](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2013%20-%20jpeg%20-%20new.jpg?width=699&height=989&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2013%20-%20jpeg%20-%20new.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 14](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2014%20.jpg?width=2480&height=3507&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2014%20.jpg) ![Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 15](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2015%20.jpg?width=2480&height=3507&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2015%20.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 16](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2016%20.jpg?width=2480&height=3507&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2016%20.jpg) ![Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 17](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2017.jpg?width=2480&height=3507&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2017.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 18](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2018%20-%20jpeg.jpg?width=728&height=1030&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2018%20-%20jpeg.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 19](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2019%20-%20jpeg.jpg?width=708&height=1001&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2019%20-%20jpeg.jpg) ![Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 20](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2020.jpg?width=2480&height=3507&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2020.jpg) ![Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 21](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2021%20.jpg?width=2480&height=3507&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2021%20.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 22](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2022%20-%20jpeg%20-%20new.jpg?width=715&height=1011&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2022%20-%20jpeg%20-%20new.jpg) ![ Going Live Blog - Episode 3 - Page 23](https://iceblog.ice-hub.biz/hs-fs/hubfs/EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2023%20-%20jpeg%20-%20new.jpg?width=718&height=1016&name=EPISODE%203%20-%20Page%2023%20-%20jpeg%20-%20new.jpg) You’ll have stiff competition from Emma and team if you’re entering the next ICE awards for Best Use of Technology, but if you’re hosting in the Metaverse then you might just trump the holograms and Hollywood take on virtual reality so start polishing your entry.
